Study: Phyllosphere of Zamia species from Panama
show Abstracthide Abstract
The data deposited in this project serve to investigate how plant-microbe interactions mediate secondary metabolic composition on the leaf of Zamia species from Panama. Using an "omics approach we characterized the leaf endophytic microbial, bacteria 16S ARN, and fungi ITS1, community alpha- and beta-diversity in two phylogenetically related Zamia species with contrasting habitats, terrestrial vs epiphytic, and relate specific leaf endophytes to host phytochemicals.
